This will be a warning

4:1 너 인자야 토판을 가져다가 그것을 네 앞에 놓고 한 성읍 곧 예루살렘을 그 위에 그리고

1 "And now, son of man, take a large clay brick and set it down in front of you. Then draw a map of the city of Jerusalem on it.

2 그 성읍을 에워싸되 그것을 향하여 사다리를 세우고 그것을 향하여 흙으로 언덕을 쌓고 그것을 향하여 진을 치고 그것을 향하여 공성퇴를 둘러 세우고

2 Show the city under siege. Build a wall around it so no one can escape. Set up the enemy camp, and surround the city with siege ramps and battering rams.

3 또 철판을 가져다가 너와 성읍 사이에 두어 철벽을 삼고 성을 포위하는 것처럼 에워싸라 이것이 이스라엘 족속에게 징조가 되리라

3 Then take an iron griddle and place it between you and the city. Turn toward the city and demonstrate how harsh the siege will be against Jerusalem. This will be a warning to the people of Israel.

이스라엘의 어리석음이 어찌 이렇게 저와 비슷한지요.

I feel that I have the foolishness of Israel.

 

하루 24시간을 살면서도 참으로 어리석은 생각들을 많이 합니다.

I fall deep into my own foolishness within just a day.

My Father

 

주님의 교훈은 저를 살리기 위함이니, 제가 주님의 말씀을 사모합니다.

Your teaching is to save me, therefore Your Word is my love.

 

주님이 주신 고난은 저를 깨우기 위함이니, 제가 기쁘게 받아들입니다.

This suffering is one that the Lord allowed only to awaken me, so I will receive it joyfully.

주님의 가르침은 참으로 구체적이고 확실하니, 제가 그 어떤 의심도 하지 않겠습니다.

Your teaching is something that I will never doubt. It is detailed and assuring, I will always be faithful towards it.

 

오늘도 성령하나님의 인도하심을 따라, 주님 안에서 살게 하옵소서.

May I live in Christ today with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
