삿 14:6
여호와의 영이 삼손에게 강하게 임하니 그가 손에 아무것도 없이 그 사자를 염소 새끼를 찢는 것 같이 찢었으나 그는 자기가 행한 일을 부모에게 알리지 아니하였더라
And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he tore the lion apart as one would have torn apart a young goat, though he had nothing in his hand. But he did not tell his father or his mother what he had done.
삿 16:15 들릴라가 삼손에게 이르되 당신의 마음이 내게 있지 아니하면서 당신이 어찌 나를 사랑한다 하느냐 당신이 이로써 세 번이나 나를 희롱하고 당신의 큰 힘이 무엇으로 말미암아 생기는지를 내게 말하지 아니하였도다 하며16 날마다 그 말로 그를 재촉하여 조르매 삼손의 마음이 번뇌하여 죽을 지경이라17 삼손이 진심을 드러내어 그에게 이르되 내 머리 위에는 삭도를 대지 아니하였나니 이는 내가 모태에서부터 하나님의 나실인이 되었음이라 만일 내 머리가 밀리면 내 힘이 내게서 떠나고 나는 약해져서 다른 사람과 같으리라 하니라
15 Then she said to him, "How can you say, 'I love you,' when your heart is not with me? You have mocked me these three times, and have not told me where your great strength lies."
16 And it came to pass, when she pestered him daily with her words and pressed him, so that his soul was vexed to death,
17 that he told her all his heart, and said to her, "No razor has ever come upon my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother's womb. If I am shaven, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man."
