1 <제사장의 반열> 이들은 아론 자손의 계열입니다. 아론의 아들은 나답, 아비후, 엘르아살, 이다말입니다.

1 This is how Aaron's descendants, the priests, were divided into groups for service. The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

2 그러나 나답과 아비후는 아버지보다 먼저 죽었고 아들이 없었습니다. 그래서 엘르아살과 이다말이 제사장이 됐습니다.

2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and they had no sons. So only Eleazar and Ithamar were left to carry on as priests.

3 다윗은 엘르아살의 자손 사독과 이다말의 자손 아히멜렉을 그들의 맡은 일에 따라 섬기도록 나누었습니다.

3 With the help of Zadok, who was a descendant of Eleazar, and of Ahimelech, who was a descendant of Ithamar, David divided Aaron's descendants into groups according to their various duties.

4 이다말의 자손보다 엘르아살의 자손에서 많은 지도자들이 나왔는데 엘르아살 자손의 집안에서 16명의 우두머리가 나오고 이다말 자손의 집안에서 여덟 명의 우두머리가 나왔습니다.

4 Eleazar's descendants were divided into sixteen groups and Ithamar's into eight, for there were more family leaders among the descendants of Eleazar.

5 그들은 제비를 뽑아 공평하게 일을 나누었습니다. 엘르아살과 이다말 자손 가운데 성소 일을 관리하는 사람과 하나님의 일을 관리하는 사람들이 있기 때문입니다.

5 All tasks were assigned to the various groups by means of sacred lots so that no preference would be shown, for there were many qualified officials serving God in the sanctuary from among the descendants of both Eleazar and Ithamar.

6 느다넬의 아들이며 레위 사람인 서기관 스마야는 왕과 그 신하들과 제사장 사독, 아비아달의 아들 아히멜렉, 제사장들과 레위 사람 집안의 우두머리들이 있는 자리에서 그들의 이름을 기록했습니다. 일꾼 하나는 엘르아살 집안에서 뽑고 하나는 이다말 집안에서 제비 뽑았습니다.

6 Shemaiah son of Nethanel, a Levite, acted as secretary and wrote down the names and assignments in the presence of the king, the officials, Zadok the priest, Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the family leaders of the priests and Levites. The descendants of Eleazar and Ithamar took turns casting lots.

7 첫째로 여호야립이 뽑혔고 둘째로 여다야가 뽑혔고

7 The first lot fell to Jehoiarib. The second lot fell to Jedaiah.

8 셋째로 하림이 뽑혔고 넷째로 스오림이 뽑혔고

8 The third lot fell to Harim. The fourth lot fell to Seorim.

9 다섯째로 말기야가 뽑혔고 여섯째로 미야민이 뽑혔고

9 The fifth lot fell to Malkijah. The sixth lot fell to Mijamin.

10 일곱째로 학고스가 뽑혔고 여덟째로 아비야가 뽑혔고

10 The seventh lot fell to Hakkoz. The eighth lot fell to Abijah.

11 아홉째로 예수아가 뽑혔고 열째로 스가냐가 뽑혔고

11 The ninth lot fell to Jeshua. The tenth lot fell to Shecaniah.

12 열한째로 엘리아십이 뽑혔고 열두째로 야김이 뽑혔고

12 The eleventh lot fell to Eliashib. The twelfth lot fell to Jakim.

13 열셋째로 4바가 뽑혔고 열넷째로 예세브압이 뽑혔고

13 The thirteenth lot fell to Huppah. The fourteenth lot fell to Jeshebeab.

14 열다섯째로 빌가가 뽑혔고 열여섯째로 임멜이 뽑혔고

14 The fifteenth lot fell to Bilgah. The sixteenth lot fell to Immer.

15 열일곱째로 헤실이 뽑혔고 열여덟째로 합비세스가 뽑혔고

15 The seventeenth lot fell to Hezir. The eighteenth lot fell to Happizzez.

16 열아홉째로 브다히야가 뽑혔고 스무째로 여헤스겔이 뽑혔고

16 The nineteenth lot fell to Pethahiah. The twentieth lot fell to Jehezkel.

17 스물한째로 야긴이 뽑혔고 스물두째로 가물이 뽑혔고

17 The twenty-first lot fell to Jakin. The twenty-second lot fell to Gamul.

18 스물셋째로 들라야가 뽑혔고 스물넷째로 마아시야가 뽑혔습니다.

18 The twenty-third lot fell to Delaiah. The twenty-fourth lot fell to Maaziah.

19 이와 같은 계열로 그들은 여호와의 성전에 들어가서 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 아론에게 명령하신 대로 조상 아론이 그들에게 세운 규례에 따라 섬겼습니다.

19 Each group carried out its appointed duties in the house of the LORD according to the procedures established by their ancestor Aaron in obedience to the commands of the LORD, the God of Israel.

20 <레위 자손 중에 남은 자들> 나머지 레위 자손은 이렇습니다. 아므람의 아들 가운데서는 수바엘, 수바엘의 아들 가운데서는 예드야,

20 These were the other family leaders descended from Levi： From the descendants of Amram, the leader was Shebuel. From the descendants of Shebuel, the leader was Jehdeiah.

21 르하뱌에게는 그 아들 가운데 우두머리 잇시야,

21 From the descendants of Rehabiah, the leader was Isshiah.

22 이스할의 아들 가운데서는 슬로못, 슬로못의 아들 가운데서는 야핫,

22 From the descendants of Izhar, the leader was Shelomith. From the descendants of Shelomith, the leader was Jahath.

23 헤브론의 아들 가운데서는 맏아들 여리야, 둘째 아마랴, 셋째 야하시엘, 넷째 여가므암,

23 From the descendants of Hebron, Jeriah was the leader, Amariah was second, Jahaziel was third, and Jekameam was fourth.

24 웃시엘의 아들 가운데서는 미가, 미가의 아들 가운데서는 사밀,

24 From the descendants of Uzziel, the leader was Micah. From the descendants of Micah, the leader was Shamir,

25 미가의 동생 잇시야, 잇시야의 아들 가운데서는 스가랴,

25 along with Isshiah, the brother of Micah. From the descendants of Isshiah, the leader was Zechariah.

26 므라리의 아들 가운데서는 마흘리, 무시이며 야아시야의 아들 브노,

26 From the descendants of Merari, the leaders were Mahli and Mushi. From the descendants of Jaaziah, the leader was Beno.

27 므라리의 자손 가운데서 야아시야에게서 난 브노, 소함, 삭굴, 이브리,

27 From the descendants of Merari through Jaaziah, the leaders were Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri.

28 마흘리에게서 난 엘르아살, 엘르아살은 아들이 없고

28 From the descendants of Mahli, the leader was Eleazar, though he had no sons.

29 기스에게서 난 그의 아들 여라므엘,

29 From the descendants of Kish, the leader was Jerahmeel.

30 무시의 아들 마흘리, 에델, 여리못입니다. 이들은 각자의 집안에 따른 레위 사람입니다.

30 From the descendants of Mushi, the leaders were Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth.These were the descendants of Levi in their various families.

31 Like the descendants of Aaron, they were assigned to their duties by means of sacred lots, without regard to age or rank. Lots were drawn in the presence of King David, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the family leaders of the priests and the Levites.

1 <음악을 맡은 자들> 다윗은 군사령관들과 함께 아삽, 헤만, 여두둔의 아들 가운데 몇몇을 따로 세워 수금과 비파와 심벌즈의 반주에 맞춰 노래 부르며 예언하는 일을 맡겼습니다. 이 일을 맡은 사람의 수는 다음과 같습니다.

1 David and the army commanders then appointed men from the families of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun to proclaim God's messages to the accompaniment of lyres, harps, and cymbals. Here is a list of their names and their work.

2 아삽의 아들 가운데서는 삭굴, 요셉, 느다냐, 아사렐라입니다. 아삽의 아들은 아삽 밑에서 왕의 명령에 따라 노래하며 예언했습니다.

2 From the sons of Asaph, there were Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asarelah. They worked under the direction of their father, Asaph, who proclaimed God's messages by the king's orders.

3 여두둔으로 말하면 그 아들은 그달리야, 스리, 여사야, 시므이, 하사뱌, 맛디디야 이렇게 모두 여섯이었는데 그들은 그 아비 여두둔 밑에서 수금을 사용해 여호와께 감사와 찬양을 드리며 예언했습니다.

3 From the sons of Jeduthun, there were Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six in all. They worked under the direction of their father, Jeduthun, who proclaimed God's messages to the accompaniment of the lyre, offering thanks and praise to the LORD.

4 헤만으로 말하면 그 아들은 북기야, 맛다냐, 웃시엘, 스브엘, 여리못, 하나냐, 하나니, 엘리아다, 깃달디, 로맘디에셀, 요스브가사, 말로디, 호딜, 마하시옷입니다.

4 From the sons of Heman, there were Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shubael, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.

5 이들 모두는 왕의 선견자 헤만의 아들입니다. 헤만을 높이시겠다는 하나님의 약속에 따라 하나님은 헤만에게 아들 14명과 딸 세 명을 주셨습니다.

5 All these were the sons of Heman, the king's seer, for God had honored him with fourteen sons and three daughters.

6 이 모든 사람은 여호와의 집을 섬기는 일로 그 아버지 밑에서 여호와의 성전에서 심벌즈와 수금과 하프로 노래하며 섬겼습니다. 아삽과 여두둔과 헤만은 왕의 수하에 있었습니다.

6 All these men were under the direction of their fathers as they made music at the house of the LORD. Their responsibilities included the playing of cymbals, harps, and lyres at the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman reported directly to the king.

7 그들은 그 형제들까지 합해 288명이었는데 그들 모두는 여호와를 찬송하는 일에 익숙한 사람들이었습니다.

7 They and their families were all trained in making music before the LORD, and each of them - 288 in all - was an accomplished musician.

8 그들은 나이가 적든 많든, 선생이든 제자든 똑같이 제비 뽑아 자기 일을 얻었습니다.

8 The musicians were appointed to their term of service by means of sacred lots, without regard to whether they were young or old, teacher or student.

9 첫째로는 아삽의 아들 가운데 요셉이 뽑혔습니다. 둘째로는 그달리야로 그와 그 형제와 아들 12명이 뽑혔습니다.

9 The first lot fell to Joseph of the Asaph clan and twelve of his sons and relatives. The second lot fell to Gedaliah and twelve of his sons and relatives.

10 셋째로는 삭굴로 그와 그 아들과 형제 12명이 뽑혔습니다.

10 The third lot fell to Zaccur and twelve of his sons and relatives.

11 넷째로는 이스리로 그와 그 아들과 형제 12명이 뽑혔습니다.

11 The fourth lot fell to Zeri and twelve of his sons and relatives.

12 다섯째로는 느다냐로 그와 그 아들과 형제 12명이 뽑혔습니다.

12 The fifth lot fell to Nethaniah and twelve of his sons and relatives.

13 여섯째로는 북기야로 그와 그 아들과 형제 12명이 뽑혔습니다.

13 The sixth lot fell to Bukkiah and twelve of his sons and relatives.

14 일곱째로는 여사렐라로 그와 그 아들과 형제 12명이 뽑혔습니다.

16 The ninth lot fell to Mattaniah and twelve of his sons and relatives.

17 열째로는 시므이로 그와 그 아들과 형제 12명이 뽑혔습니다.

17 The tenth lot fell to Shimei and twelve of his sons and relatives.

18 열한째로는 아사렐로 그와 그 아들과 형제 12명이 뽑혔습니다.

18 The eleventh lot fell to Uzziel and twelve of his sons and relatives.

19 열두째로는 하사뱌로 그와 그 아들과 형제 12명이 뽑혔습니다.

19 The twelfth lot fell to Hashabiah and twelve of his sons and relatives.

20 열셋째로는 수바엘로 그와 그 아들과 형제 12명이 뽑혔습니다.

20 The thirteenth lot fell to Shubael and twelve of his sons and relatives.

21 The fourteenth lot fell to Mattithiah and twelve of his sons and relatives.

1 These are the divisions of the gatekeepers： From the Korahites, there was Meshelemiah son of Kore, of the family of Abiasaph.

2 므셀레먀의 아들로는 맏아들 스가랴, 둘째 여디야엘, 셋째 스바댜, 넷째 야드니엘,

2 The sons of Meshelemiah were Zechariah (the oldest), Jediael (the second), Zebadiah (the third), Jathniel (the fourth),

3 다섯째 엘람, 여섯째 여호하난, 일곱째 엘여호에내입니다.

3 Elam (the fifth), Jehohanan (the sixth), and Eliehoenai (the seventh).

4 오벧에돔의 아들로는 맏아들 스마야, 둘째 여호사밧, 셋째 요아, 넷째 사갈, 다섯째 느다넬,

4 The sons of Obed-edom, also gatekeepers, were Shemaiah (the oldest), Jehozabad (the second), Joah (the third), Sacar (the fourth), Nethanel (the fifth),

5 여섯째 암미엘, 일곱째 잇사갈, 여덟째 브울래대였습니다. 하나님께서 오벧에돔에게 복을 주셨습니다.

5 Ammiel (the sixth), Issachar (the seventh), and Peullethai (the eighth). God had richly blessed Obed-edom.

6 그 아들 스마야도 두어 아들이 있는데 그들은 무척 능력 있는 사람이었으며 그 아버지 집안에서 지도자들이었습니다.

6 Obed-edom's son Shemaiah had sons with great ability who earned positions of great authority in the clan.

7 Their names were Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad. Their relatives, Elihu and Semakiah, were also very capable men.

8 All of these descendants of Obed-edom, including their sons and grandsons - sixty-two of them in all - were very capable men, well qualified for their work.

9 Meshelemiah's eighteen sons and relatives were also very capable men.

12 These divisions of the gatekeepers were named for their family leaders, and like the other Levites, they served at the house of the LORD.

13 그들의 집안에 따라 젊든지 나이가 들었든지 각 문을 지키기 위해 똑같이 제비 뽑았습니다.

13 They were assigned by families for guard duty at the various gates, without regard to age or training, for it was all decided by means of sacred lots.

14 셀레먀는 동쪽 문을 뽑았습니다. 그리고 지혜로운 참모인 그 아들 스가랴는 북쪽 문을 뽑았습니다.

14 The responsibility for the east gate went to Meshelemiah and his group. The north gate was assigned to his son Zechariah, a man of unusual wisdom.

15 남쪽 문에는 오벧에돔이 뽑혔고 창고에는 그의 아들이 뽑혔습니다.

15 The south gate went to Obed-edom, and his sons were put in charge of the storehouse.

16 서쪽 문과 위쪽 길로 통하는 살래겟 문에는 숩빔과 호사가 뽑혔습니다. 이들은 나란히 서서 지켰습니다.

16 Shuppim and Hosah were assigned the west gate and the gateway leading up to the Temple. Guard duties were divided evenly.

17 Six Levites were assigned each day to the east gate, four to the north gate, four to the south gate, and two pairs at the storehouse.

18 Six were assigned each day to the west gate, four to the gateway leading up to the Temple, and two to the courtyard.

19 These were the divisions of the gatekeepers from the clans of Korah and Merari.

20 Other Levites, led by Ahijah, were in charge of the treasuries of the house of God and the treasuries of the gifts dedicated to the LORD.

21 From the family of Libni in the clan of Gershon, Jehiel was the leader.

22 여히엘리의 아들은 스담과 그 동생 요엘입니다. 그들은 여호와 집의 창고를 맡았습니다.

22 The sons of Jehiel, Zetham and his brother Joel, were in charge of the treasuries of the house of the LORD.

23 아므람 자손과 이스할 자손과 헤브론 자손과 웃시엘 자손 가운데서는

23 These are the leaders that descended from Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

24 모세의 아들이며 게르솜의 자손인 스브엘이 창고를 맡았습니다.

24 From the clan of Amram, Shebuel was a descendant of Gershom son of Moses. He was the chief officer of the treasuries.

25 그의 형제 엘리에셀에게서 난 자는 그 아들 르하뱌, 그 아들 여사야, 그 아들 요람, 그 아들 시그리, 그 아들 슬로못입니다.

25 His relatives through Eliezer were Rehabiah, Jeshaiah, Joram, Zicri, and Shelomoth.

26 Shelomoth and his relatives were in charge of the treasuries containing the gifts that King David, the family leaders, and the generals and captains and other officers of the army had dedicated to the LORD.

27 These men dedicated some of the plunder they had gained in battle to maintain the house of the LORD.

28 선견자 사무엘이 바친 모든 것과 기스의 아들 사울과 넬의 아들 아브넬과 스루야의 아들 요압이 바친 모든 것과 또 바쳐진 모든 물건들을 슬로못과 그 형제들이 관리했습니다.

28 Shelomoth and his relatives also cared for the gifts dedicated to the LORD by Samuel the seer, Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah. All the other dedicated gifts were in their care, too.

29 이스할 자손 가운데 그나냐와 그 아들은 성전 바깥의 일을 맡았는데 그들은 이스라엘을 다스리는 관리와 재판관이 됐습니다.

29 From the clan of Izhar came Kenaniah. He and his sons were given administrative responsibilities over Israel as officials and judges.

30 헤브론 자손 가운데서는 하사뱌와 그 동족인 1,700명의 용사들이 요단 강 서쪽에서 여호와를 위한 모든 일과 왕을 섬기는 일을 맡았습니다.

30 From the clan of Hebron came Hashabiah. He and his relatives - 1,700 capable men - were put in charge of the Israelite lands west of the Jordan River. They were responsible for all matters related to the things of the LORD and the service of the king in that area.

31 헤브론 사람 가운데서는 여리야가 그 집안의 족보에 따라 우두머리가 됐습니다. 다윗이 다스린 지 40년 되는 해에 족보에서 헤브론 자손 가운데 길르앗 야셀에 용사들이 있다는 것을 발견했습니다.

31 Also from the clan of Hebron came Jeriah, who was the leader of the Hebronites according to the genealogical records. (In the fortieth year of David's reign, a search was made in the records, and capable men from the clan of Hebron were found at Jazer in the land of Gilead.)

32 여리야는 2,700명의 형제들이 있는데 그들은 용사며 우두머리들이었습니다. 다윗 왕은 그들이 르우벤 자손과 갓 자손과 므낫세 반 지파를 관리하며 하나님과 관련된 모든 일과 왕을 위한 일을 맡아보도록 했습니다.

32 There were 2,700 capable men among the relatives of Jeriah. King David sent them to the east side of the Jordan River and put them in charge of the tribes of Reuben and Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh. They were responsible for all matters related to God and to the king.
