4 and Noah. The sons of Noah were Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

5 The descendants of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.

18 Arphaxad was the father of Shelah. Shelah was the father of Eber.

33 The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were descendants of Abraham through his concubine Keturah.

34 Abraham was the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac were Esau and Israel.

43 These are the kings who ruled in the land of Edom before any king ruled over the Israelites： Bela son of Beor, who ruled from his city of Dinhabah.

44 벨라가 죽자 보스라 출신인 세라의 아들 요밥이 뒤를 이어 왕이 됐습니다.

44 When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah became king in his place.

45 요밥이 죽자 데만 족속 출신인 후삼이 뒤를 이어 왕이 됐습니다.

45 When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites became king in his place.

46 후삼이 죽자 브닷의 아들 하닷이 뒤를 이어 왕이 됐습니다. 하닷은 모압 들판에서 미디안을 친 사람으로 그는 성의 이름을 아윗이라고 지었습니다.

46 When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad became king in his place and ruled from the city of Avith. He was the one who destroyed the Midianite army in the land of Moab.

47 When Hadad died, Samlah from the city of Masrekah became king in his place.

48 사믈라가 죽자 강가에 살았던 르호봇 출신인 사울이 뒤를 이어 왕이 됐습니다.

48 When Samlah died, Shaul from the city of Rehoboth-on-the-River became king in his place.

49 사울이 죽자 악볼의 아들 바알하난이 뒤를 이어 왕이 됐습니다.

50 바알하난이 죽자 하닷이 뒤를 이어 왕이 됐습니다. 그는 성의 이름을 바이라고 지었습니다. 그 아내의 이름은 므헤다벨인데 메사합의 손녀이자 마드렛의 딸입니다.

50 When Baal-hanan died, Hadad became king in his place and ruled from the city of Pau. His wife was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred and granddaughter of Me-zahab.

1 The sons of Israel were Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,

2 단, 요셉, 베냐민, 납달리, 갓, 아셀입니다.

2 Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3 <헤스론의 아들들까지> 유다의 아들은 에르, 오난, 셀라입니다. 이 세 사람은 가나안 사람 수아의 딸과 유다 사이에서 태어났습니다. 유다의 맏아들 에르는 여호와께서 보시기에 악했습니다. 그래서 여호와께서 그를 죽이셨습니다.

3 Judah had three sons from Bathshua, a Canaanite woman. Their names were Er, Onan, and Shelah. But the LORD saw that the oldest son, Er, was a wicked man, so he killed him.

4 유다의 며느리 다말과 유다 사이에 베레스와 세라가 태어났습니다. 유다는 모두 다섯 아들이 있었습니다.

4 Later Judah had twin sons from Tamar, his widowed daughter-in-law. Their names were Perez and Zerah. So Judah had five sons in all.

5 베레스의 아들은 헤스론과 하물입니다.

5 The sons of Perez were Hezron and Hamul.

6 세라의 아들은 시므리, 에단, 헤만, 갈골, 다라 이렇게 모두 다섯이었습니다.

6 The sons of Zerah were Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Darda - five in all.

7 갈미의 아들은 아갈인데 그는 진멸시켜 하나님께 바쳐야 하는 물건 때문에 죄를 지어 이스라엘에 문제를 일으킨 사람입니다.

7 The son of Carmi (a descendant of Zimri) was Achan, who brought disaster on Israel by taking plunder that had been set apart for the LORD.

17 Abigail married a man named Jether, an Ishmaelite, and they had a son named Amasa.

18 Hezron's son Caleb had sons from his wife Azubah and from Jerioth. Her sons were named Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.

19 아수바가 죽자 갈렙은 에브랏과 결혼해 훌을 낳았습니다.

19 After Azubah died, Caleb married Ephrathah, and they had a son named Hur.

20 훌은 우리를 낳고 우리는 브살렐을 낳았습니다.

20 Hur was the father of Uri. Uri was the father of Bezalel.

21 그 후에 헤스론은 60세에 길르앗의 아버지 마길의 딸과 결혼해 스굽을 낳았습니다.

21 When Hezron was sixty years old, he married Gilead's sister, the daughter of Makir. They had a son named Segub.

22 스굽은 야일을 낳았는데 야일은 길르앗에서 23개의 성을 다스렸습니다.

22 Segub was the father of Jair, who ruled twenty-three towns in the land of Gilead.

23 그러나 그술과 아람이 그낫과 그 주변의 정착지인 60개의 성과 야일의 성을 빼앗았습니다. 이들 모두 길르앗의 아버지 마길의 자손입니다.

23 (But Geshur and Aram captured the Towns of Jair and also took Kenath and its sixty surrounding villages.) All these were descendants of Makir, the father of Gilead.

24 헤스론이 갈렙 에브라다에서 죽은 뒤 헤스론의 아내 아비야는 그에게서 드고아의 아버지인 아스훌을 낳았습니다.

24 Soon after Hezron died in the town of Caleb-ephrathah, his wife Abijah gave birth to a son named Ashhur (the father of Tekoa).

25 <헤스론의 아들 여라므엘> 헤스론의 맏아들 여라므엘의 아들은 맏아들 람이며, 그 아래로는 브나, 오렌, 오셈, 아히야입니다.

25 The sons of Jerahmeel, the oldest son of Hezron, were Ram (the firstborn), Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.

26 여라므엘에게는 아내가 한 사람 더 있었는데 그 이름은 아다라입니다. 아다라는 오남의 어머니입니다.

26 Jerahmeel had a second wife named Atarah. She was the mother of Onam.

27 The sons of Ram, the oldest son of Jerahmeel, were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

28 The sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai were Nadab and Abishur.

52 The descendants of Shobal (the founder of Kiriath-jearim) were Haroeh, half the Manahathites,

53 기럇 여아림의 족속은 이델 족속, 붓 족속, 수맛 족속, 미스라 족속입니다. 이들로부터 소라 족속과 에스다올 족속이 나왔습니다.

53 and the families of Kiriath-jearim - the Ithrites, Puthites, Shumathites, and Mishraites, from whom came the people of Zorah and Eshtaol.

54 살마의 자손은 베들레헴, 느도바 족속, 아다롯벳요압, 마하낫 족속의 절반, 소라 족속이고

54 The descendants of Salma were the people of Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, the other half of the Manahathites, the Zorites,

55 야베스에서 살던 서기관 족속들은 디랏 족속, 시므앗 족속, 수갓 족속입니다. 이들은 레갑 집안의 조상인 함맛에게서 나온 겐 족속입니다.

55 and the families of scribes living at Jabez - the Tirathites, Shimeathites, and Sucathites. All these were Kenites who descended from Hammath, the father of the family of Recab.

1 <다윗의 아들들> 다윗이 헤브론에서 낳은 아들은 이러합니다. 이스르엘 여인 아히노암이 맏아들인 암논을 낳았고 갈멜 여인 아비가일은 둘째 아들 다니엘을 낳았습니다.

1 These are the sons of David who were born in Hebron： The oldest was Amnon, whose mother was Ahinoam from Jezreel. The second was Daniel, whose mother was Abigail from Carmel.

2 그술 왕 달매의 딸 마아가는 셋째 아들 압살롬을 낳고 학깃은 넷째 아들 아도니야를 낳았습니다.

2 The third was Absalom, whose mother was Maacah, the daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur. The fourth was Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith.

3 아비달은 다섯째 아들 스바댜를 낳고 다윗의 아내 에글라는 여섯째 아들 이드르암을 낳았습니다.

3 The fifth was Shephatiah, whose mother was Abital. The sixth was Ithream, whose mother was Eglah, David's wife.

4 이들은 헤브론에서 다윗이 낳은 여섯 명의 아들입니다. 다윗은 헤브론에서 7년 6개월 동안 다스렸습니다. 그리고 다윗은 예루살렘에서 33년 동안 다스렸습니다.

4 These six sons were born to David in Hebron, where he reigned seven and a half years. Then David reigned another thirty-three years in Jerusalem.

5 예루살렘에서 낳은 자녀들은 이러합니다. 시므아, 소밥, 나단, 솔로몬 이 네 사람은 암미엘의 딸 밧수아가 낳았습니다.

5 The sons born to David in Jerusalem included Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon. Their mother was Bathsheba, the daughter of Ammiel.

6 David also had nine other sons： Ibhar, Elishua, Elpelet,

10 The descendants of Solomon were Rehoboam, Abijah, Asa, Jehoshaphat,

12 Amaziah, Uzziah, Jotham,

13 그 아들은 아하스, 그 아들은 히스기야, 그 아들은 므낫세,

13 Ahaz, Hezekiah, Manasseh,

14 그 아들은 아몬, 그 아들은 요시야입니다.

14 Amon, and Josiah.

15 요시야의 아들들은 맏아들 요하난, 둘째 여호야김, 셋째 시드기야, 넷째 살룸입니다.

15 The sons of Josiah were Johanan (the oldest), Jehoiakim (the second), Zedekiah (the third), and Jehoahaz (the fourth).

16 여호야김의 자손들은 그 아들 여고냐와 시드기야입니다.

16 The successors of Jehoiakim were his son Jehoiachin and his brother Zedekiah.

17 <포로기 이후 왕의 혈통> 사로잡혀 간 여고냐의 자손들은 그 아들 스알디엘,

17 The sons of Jehoiachin, who was taken prisoner by the Babylonians, were Shealtiel,

18 말기람, 브다야, 세낫살, 여가먀, 호사마, 느다뱌입니다.

18 Malkiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

19 브다야의 아들은 스룹바벨과 시므이입니다. 스룹바벨의 아들은 므술람과 하나냐입니다. 슬로밋은 그들의 누이입니다.

19 The sons of Pedaiah were Zerubbabel and Shimei. The sons of Zerubbabel were Meshullam and Hananiah. (Their sister was Shelomith.)

20 His five other sons were Hashubah, Ohel, Berekiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed.

21 The sons of Hananiah were Pelatiah and Jeshaiah. Jeshaiah's son was Rephaiah. Rephaiah's son was Arnan. Arnan's son was Obadiah. Obadiah's son was Shecaniah.

22 스가냐의 자손은 스마야, 스마야의 아들은 핫두스, 이갈, 바리야, 느아랴, 사밧 이렇게 모두 여섯입니다.

22 The descendants of Shecaniah were Shemaiah and his sons, Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat - six in all.

23 느아랴의 아들은 에료에내, 히스기야, 아스리감 이렇게 모두 셋입니다.

23 The sons of Neariah were Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam - three in all.

24 에료에내의 아들은 호다위야, 엘리아십, 블라야, 악굽, 요하난, 들라야, 아나니 이렇게 모두 일곱입니다.

24 The sons of Elioenai were Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani - seven in all.
