1.

1 오 데오빌로여, 예수님께서 행하시고 가르치기 시작하신 모든 일에 관하여 내가 작성한 이전 보고서는

1 The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

2 그분께서 친히 택하신 사도들에게 [성령님]을 통해 명령들을 주신 뒤에 들려 올라가신 날까지의 일을 기록한 것이라.

2 until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen,

3 그분께서 수난을 받으신 뒤에 또한 자신이 살아 계심을 절대 확실한 많은 증거들로 그들에게 보여 주시고 사십 일 동안 그들에게 보이시며 하나님의 왕국에 관한 것들을 말씀하시고

3 to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.

4 또 그들과 함께 모이사 그들이 예루살렘을 떠나지 말고 [아버지]의 약속하신 것을 기다리라고 그들에게 명령하셨느니라. 그분께서 이르시되, 그 약속하신 것에 대해서는 너희가 내게서 들었나니

4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which," He said, "you have heard from Me;

5 참으로 요한은 물로 침례를 주었으되 너희는 이제부터 많은 날이 지나지 아니하여 [성령님]으로 침례를 받으리라, 하시느니라.

5 "for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now."

6 그러므로 그들이 함께 왔을 때에 그분께 여쭈어 이르되, [주]여, 주께서 이때에 그 왕국을 이스라엘에게 다시 회복시켜 주고자 하시나이까? 하매

6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?"

7 그분께서 그들에게 이르시되, 그 때나 그 시기는 [아버지]께서 자신의 권능 안에 두셨으니 너희가 알 바 아니요,

7 And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.

8 오직 [성령님]께서 너희에게 임하신 뒤에 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아에서 그리고 땅의 맨 끝 지역까지 이르러 나를 위한 증인이 되리라, 하시니라.

8 "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

9 이것들을 말씀하신 뒤에 그분께서 그들이 보는 동안 들려 올라가시니 구름이 그분을 받아들여 그들이 보지 못하게 하더라.

9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

10 그분께서 올라가실 때에 그들이 똑바로 하늘을 바라보고 있는데, 보라, 흰옷 입은 두 남자가 그들 곁에 서며

10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel,

11 또 그들이 이르되, 너희 갈릴리 사람들아, 너희가 어찌하여 서서 하늘을 바라보느냐? 너희를 떠나 하늘로 들려 올라가신 이 동일한 예수님께서는 너희가 그분께서 하늘로 들어가심을 본 그대로 오시리라, 하니라.

11 who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."

12 그때에 그들이 올리벳이라 하는 산으로부터 예루살렘으로 돌아왔는데 이 산은 예루살렘에서 안식일에도 다닐 수 있는 거리에 있더라.

12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey.

13 그들이 들어가서 다락방으로 올라가니라. 베드로와 야고보와 요한과 안드레와 빌립과 도마와 바돌로매와 마태와 알패오의 아들 야고보와 셀롯 시몬과 야고보의 형제 유다가 다 거기 머물더라.

13 And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the son of James.

14 이들이 다 여자들과 예수님의 어머니 마리아와 그분의 형제들과 함께 한마음이 되어 기도와 간구를 계속하더라.

14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

15 ¶ (함께한 사람들의 이름의 수가 약 백이십이더라.) 그 무렵에 베드로가 제자들의 한가운데서 일어나 이르되,

15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples (altogether the number of names was about a hundred and twenty), and said,

16 사람들아 형제들아, 예수님을 잡아간 자들의 길잡이가 된 유다에 대하여 [성령님]께서 다윗의 입을 통해 미리 말씀하신 이 성경 기록이 반드시 성취될 필요가 있었나니

16 "Men and brethren, this Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus;

17 이는 그가 우리와 함께 계수되어 이 사역의 한 몫을 맡았기 때문이라.

17 "for he was numbered with us and obtained a part in this ministry."

18 이제 이 사람이 불법의 대가로 밭을 산 뒤 거꾸로 떨어져 한가운데가 터졌고 그의 모든 창자가 흘러나왔으므로

18 (Now this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out.

19 그 일을 예루살렘에 거하는 모든 사람이 알게 되어 그 밭을 자기들 고유의 말로 아겔다마라 하니라. 그것은 곧 피 밭이라는 말이라.

19 And it became known to all those dwelling in Jerusalem; so that field is called in their own language, Akel Dama, that is, Field of Blood.)

20 시편 책에 기록된바, 그의 처소를 황폐하게 하시며 아무도 그 안에 거하지 못하게 하소서, 하였고 또, 그의 감독직을 타인이 취하게 하소서, 하였나니

20 "For it is written in the book of Psalms: 'Let his dwelling place be desolate, And let no one live in it'; and, 'Let another take his office.'

21 그러므로 [주] 예수님께서 요한의 침례로부터 시작하여 우리를 떠나 들려 올라가신 바로 그 날까지 우리 가운데서 드나드시던 모든 때에

21 "Therefore, of these men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,

22 우리와 함께 다니던 이 사람들 중에서 반드시 하나를 임명하여 우리와 함께 그분의 부활을 증언할 증인이 되게 하여야 하리라, 하매

22 "beginning from the baptism of John to that day when He was taken up from us, one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection."

23 그들이 둘을 지명하니 곧 바사바라고도 하고 별명은 유스도라 하는 요셉과 맛디아더라.

23 And they proposed two: Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.

24 그들이 기도하며 이르되, 모든 사람의 마음을 아시는 [주]여, 주께서 이 두 사람 중에 누구를 택하셨는지 보여 주사

24 And they prayed and said, "You, O Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which of these two You have chosen

25 그가 이 사역과 사도직을 맡게 하옵소서. 유다는 자기 자신의 처소로 가려고 범법함으로 그 직분에서 떨어져 나갔나이다, 하고

25 "to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place."

26 제비를 뽑으니 제비가 맛디아 위에 떨어지니라. 그가 열한 사도와 함께 계수되니라.

26 And they cast their lots, and the lot fell on Matthias. And he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

2.

1 오순절 날이 충만히 임하였을 때에 그들이 다 한마음이 되어 한 곳에 있더라.

1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 갑자기 하늘로부터 급하고 강한 바람 소리 같은 소리가 나고 그들이 앉아 있던 온 집안에 그것이 가득하며

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.

3 또 불의 혀같이 갈라진 것들이 그들에게 나타나 그들 각 사람 위에 앉더라.

3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.

4 그들이 다 [성령님]으로 충만하여 성령께서 그들에게 말하게 하시는 대로 다른 언어들로 말하기 시작하더라.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

5 독실한 자들 곧 유대인들이 하늘 아래 모든 민족으로부터 나아와 예루살렘에 거하고 있었는데

5 And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven.

6 이제 이 일이 널리 퍼지매 그 무리가 함께 와서 그들이 자기 자신의 말로 말하는 것을 각 사람이 들으므로 당황해하더라.

6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language.

7 그들이 모두 놀라고 이상히 여기며 서로 이르되, 보라, 말하는 이 사람들은 다 갈릴리 사람들이 아니냐?

7 Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, "Look, are not all these who speak Galileans?

8 그런데 어떻게 우리 각 사람이 우리가 태어난 곳의 우리 언어로 듣느냐?

8 "And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?

9 우리는 바대 사람과 메대 사람과 엘람 사람이며 또 메소포타미아와 유대와 갑바도기아와 본도와 아시아와

9 "Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,

10 브루기아와 밤빌리아와 이집트와 구레네 부근의 리비아의 여러 지방에 거하는 사람이고 또 로마에서 온 나그네 곧 유대인과 유대교 개종자와

10 "Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,

11 크레테 사람과 아라비아 사람이라. 그들이 우리 언어들로 하나님의 놀라운 일들을 말함을 우리가 듣는도다, 하고

11 "Cretans and Arabs--we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God."

12 그들이 모두 놀라 의심하며 서로 이르되, 이것이 무엇을 뜻하는가? 하더라.

12 So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, "Whatever could this mean?"

13 다른 이들은 조롱하여 이르되, 이 사람들이 새 포도즙으로 충만하다, 하더라.

13 Others mocking said, "They are full of new wine."

14 ¶ 그러나 베드로가 열한 사도와 함께 서서 소리를 높여 그들에게 이르되, 유대 사람들과 예루살렘에 거하는 모든 사람들아, 이것을 너희에게 알려 주리니 너희는 내 말에 귀를 기울이라.

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, "Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words.

15 지금은 겨우 낮의 세시이므로 너희가 짐작하는 것처럼 이 사람들은 술 취하지 아니하였느니라.

15 "For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day.

16 오히려 대언자 요엘을 통하여 말씀하신 것이 이것이니라. 일렀으되,

16 "But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

17 하나님께서 말씀하시기를, 마지막 날들에 내가 내 [영]을 모든 육체 위에 부어 주리니 너희의 아들딸들은 대언하며 너희의 젊은이들은 환상들을 보고 너희의 늙은이들은 꿈을 꾸리라.

17 'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.

18 그 날들에 내가 내 [영]을 내 남종과 여종들 위에 부어 주리니 그들이 대언하리라.

18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.

19 또 내가 위로 하늘에서는 이적들을 보이며 아래로 땅에서는 표적들을 보이리니 곧 피와 불과 연기로다.

19 I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.

20 저 크고 주목할 만한 [주]의 날이 이르기 전에 해가 변하여 어둠이 되고 달이 변하여 피가 되려니와

20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.

21 누구든지 [주]의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 받으리라, 하였느니라.

21 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved.'

22 너희 이스라엘 사람들아, 이 말들을 들으라. 너희 자신도 아는 바와 같이 하나님께서 나사렛 예수님을 통하여 기적들과 이적들과 표적들을 너희 한가운데서 행하사 그분을 너희 가운데서 하나님의 인정받은 사람으로 삼으셨느니라.

22 "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know--

23 그분께서 하나님의 정하신 계획과 미리 아심을 통하여 넘겨지매 너희가 그분을 붙잡아 사악한 손으로 십자가에 못 박아 죽였으나

23 "Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death;

24 하나님께서 그분을 사망의 고통에서 풀어 일으키셨으니 이는 사망이 그분을 붙들 수 없었기 때문이라.

24 "whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.

25 다윗이 그분에 관하여 말하되, 내가 항상 내 얼굴 앞에 계신 [주]를 미리 보았나니 그분께서 내 오른편에 계시므로 내가 흔들리지 아니하리로다.

25 "For David says concerning Him: 'I foresaw the LORD always before my face, For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken.

26 이러므로 내 마음이 기뻐하고 내 혀도 즐거워하였으며 더욱이 내 육체도 소망 중에 안식하리니

26 Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope.

27 이는 주께서 내 혼을 지옥에 남겨 두지 아니하시고 주의 [거룩한 자]가 썩음을 보지 아니하게 하실 것이기 때문이니이다.

27 For You will not leave my soul in Hades, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

28 주께서 생명의 길들을 내게 알려 주셨으니 주의 얼굴로 내게 기쁨이 충만하게 하시리이다, 하느니라.

28 You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.'

29 사람들아 형제들아, 내가 족장 다윗에 대하여 거리낌 없이 너희에게 말하노니 그는 죽어서 묻혔고 그의 돌무덤은 이 날까지 우리와 함께 있도다.

29 "Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

30 그런즉 그는 대언자이므로 하나님께서 이미 자기에게 서약으로 맹세하사 육체에 따라 자기 허리의 열매에서 그리스도를 일으켜서 자기 왕좌에 앉히실 것을 알았고

30 "Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,

31 또 이것을 미리 보았으므로 그리스도의 부활에 대하여 말하기를, 그의 혼이 지옥에 남겨지지 아니하였고 그의 육체도 썩음을 보지 아니하였느니라, 하였느니라.

31 "he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption.

32 이 예수님을 하나님께서 일으키셨으며 우리는 다 그 일에 증인이로다.

32 "This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses.

33 그러므로 그분께서 하나님의 오른손에 의해 높여지시고 [아버지]에게서 [성령님]을 약속으로 받아서 너희가 지금 보고 듣는 이것을 부어 주셨느니라.

33 "Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.

34 다윗은 하늘들로 올라가지 아니하였으나 친히 이르되, { 주} 께서 내 [주]께 말씀하시기를,

34 "For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: 'The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand,

35 내가 네 원수들을 네 발받침으로 삼을 때까지 너는 내 오른편에 앉아 있으라, 하셨도다, 하느니라.

35 Till I make Your enemies Your footstool."'

36 그런즉 이스라엘의 온 집은 확실히 알지니 너희가 십자가에 못 박은 그 동일한 예수님을 하나님께서 [주]와 그리스도로 삼으셨느니라, 하니라.

36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."

37 ¶ 이제 그들이 이 말을 듣고 마음속으로 찔려 베드로와 나머지 사도들에게 이르되, 사람들아 형제들아, 우리가 어찌할까? 하거늘

37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"

38 이에 베드로가 그들에게 이르되, 회개하고 너희 각 사람이 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 침례를 받아 죄들의 사면을 얻으라. 그리하면 너희가 [성령님]을 선물로 받으리니

38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

39 이 약속은 너희와 너희 자손과 멀리 떨어져 있는 모든 사람 곧 [주] 우리 하나님께서 부르실 모든 사람을 향한 것이니라, 하고

39 "For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."

40 또 많은 다른 말씀들로 증언하며 권면하여 이르되, 이 패역한 세대로부터 너희 자신을 구원하라, 하니라.

40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation."

41 ¶ 그때에 그의 말을 기쁘게 받아들인 자들이 침례를 받으매 바로 그 날에 삼천 혼 가량이 그들에게 더해지니라.

41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.

42 그들이 흔들리지 아니하며 사도들의 교리와 교제 안에 머물고 빵을 떼며 기도하더라.

42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 모든 혼 위에 두려움이 임하고 사도들을 통하여 많은 이적들과 표적들이 일어나더라.

43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.

44 믿은 모든 사람들이 함께 지내며 모든 것을 공동으로 소유하고

44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common,

45 자기 소유와 재산을 팔아 각 사람의 필요대로 모든 사람에게 나누어 주며

45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.

46 또 날마다 한마음이 되어 성전에 거하고 집에서 집으로 돌아가며 빵을 떼면서 단일한 마음으로 즐겁게 자기들의 음식을 먹고

46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,

47 하나님을 찬양하며 온 백성에게 호감을 얻으니 [주]께서 구원받아야 할 자들을 날마다 교회에 더하시니라.

47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

3.

1 이제 아홉시 기도 시간에 베드로와 요한이 함께 성전으로 올라갈 때에

1 Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.

2 사람들이 자기 어머니 태에서부터 걷지 못하는 어떤 사람을 메고 왔는데 이 사람은 성전에 들어가는 자들에게 구제물을 요청하게 하려고 그들이 날마다 아름다운 문이라 하는 성전 문에 두는 자더라.

2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;

3 그가 베드로와 요한이 성전에 들어가려 하는 것을 보고 구제물을 요청하거늘

3 who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms.

4 베드로가 요한과 함께 그를 눈여겨보며 이르되, 우리를 보라, 하매

4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, "Look at us."

5 그가 그들에게서 무엇을 받으려고 기대하며 그들에게 주의를 기울이거늘

5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.

6 이에 베드로가 이르되, 은과 금은 내게 없거니와 내게 있는 것을 네게 주노니 나사렛 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 일어나 걸으라, 하고

6 Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."

7 그의 오른손을 잡아 그를 일으키매 곧 그의 발과 발목뼈가 힘을 얻고

7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 그가 껑충 뛰어 서서 걸으며 그들과 함께 성전으로 들어가면서 걷기도 하고 뛰기도 하며 하나님을 찬양하니라.

8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them--walking, leaping, and praising God.

9 온 백성이 그가 걷는 것과 하나님을 찬양하는 것을 보고

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God.

10 또 그가 성전의 아름다운 문에 앉아 구제물을 바라던 사람인 줄 알고는 그에게 일어난 일로 인하여 놀라며 경이롭게 여기니라.

10 Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

11 걷지 못하던 자가 고침을 받고 베드로와 요한을 붙드니 온 백성이 크게 놀라며 솔로몬의 주랑이라 하는 곳에 있던 그들에게로 함께 달려 가니라.

11 Now as the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch which is called Solomon's, greatly amazed.

12 ¶ 베드로가 그것을 보고 백성에게 응답하되, 너희 이스라엘 사람들아, 어찌하여 이 일에 놀라느냐? 어찌하여 마치 우리가 우리 자신의 권능이나 거룩함으로 이 사람을 걷게 만든 것처럼 우리를 이토록 진지하게 쳐다보느냐?

12 So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: "Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?

13 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱의 하나님 곧 우리 조상들의 하나님께서 자신의 아들 예수님을 영화롭게 하셨느니라. 너희가 그분을 넘겨주었고 빌라도가 그분을 놓아주려고 결심하였을 때에 그 앞에서 그분을 부인하였으니

13 "The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go.

14 너희가 [거룩하신 분] 곧 [의로우신 분]을 부인하고 살인자를 너희에게 달라고 구하여

14 "But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,

15 생명의 통치자를 죽였도다. 그러나 그분을 하나님께서 죽은 자들로부터 일으키셨으며 우리는 그 일에 증인이니라.

15 "and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

16 그분의 이름을 믿는 믿음을 통하여 그분의 이름이 너희가 보고 아는 이 사람을 강건하게 하였으니 참으로 그분으로 말미암은 믿음이 너희 모든 사람 앞에서 그를 이같이 완전히 낫게 하였느니라.

16 "And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

17 이제 형제들아, 너희의 치리자들과 마찬가지로 너희도 알지 못하여 그리한 줄 내가 아노라.

17 "Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

18 그러나 하나님께서 자신의 모든 대언자들의 입을 통하여 미리 보여 주신 그 일들 곧 그리스도께서 고난당하실 일들을 이같이 성취하셨느니라.

18 "But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.

19 ¶ 그런즉 너희는 회개하고 회심하라. 그리하면 새롭게 하는 때가 [주]의 앞으로부터 이를 때에 너희 죄들이 말소될 것이요,

19 "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

20 또 그분께서 예수 그리스도 곧 너희에게 미리 선포된 분을 보내시리라.

20 "and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before,

21 하나님께서 세상이 시작된 이래로 자신의 모든 거룩한 대언자들의 입을 통하여 말씀하신 때 곧 모든 것을 회복하시는 때까지는 하늘이 반드시 그분을 받아들여야 하느니라.

21 "whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

22 진실로 모세가 조상들에게 이르되, [주] 너희 하나님께서 너희 형제들 중에서 나와 같은 대언자 하나를 너희를 위하여 일으키시리니 그가 너희에게 무엇을 말하든지 너희는 모든 일에서 그의 말을 들을지니라.

22 "For Moses truly said to the fathers, 'The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.

23 그 대언자의 말을 들으려 하지 아니하는 모든 혼은 백성 가운데서 멸망을 당하리라, 하였고

23 'And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.'

24 참으로 사무엘 이후의 모든 대언자들과 그 뒤를 이어 말씀을 전한 모든 사람들도 마찬가지로 이 날들에 대하여 미리 말하였느니라.

24 "Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also foretold these days.

25 너희는 대언자들의 자손이요 또 하나님께서 우리 조상들과 맺으신 언약의 자손이라. 그분께서 아브라함에게 이르시되, 네 씨 안에서 땅의 모든 족속들이 복을 받으리라, 하셨으므로

25 "You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, 'And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.'

26 하나님께서 자신의 아들 예수님을 일으키시고 너희에게 복을 주시기 위해 그분을 먼저 너희에게 보내사 너희 각 사람이 자기의 불법들에서 돌아서게 하셨느니라.

26 "To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities."
