1.
1 <하나님의 마지막 말씀 : 아들> 옛날에 여러 차례 여러 모양으로 예언자들을 통해 조상들에게 말씀하신 하나님께서
1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,
2 이 마지막 날에 아들을 통해 우리에게 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님께서는 그 아들을 만물의 상속자로 세우시고 또한 그를 통해 모든 세상을 지으셨습니다.
2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;
3 그 아들은 하나님의 영광의 광채이시며 하나님의 본체의 형상이십니다. 또한 그분은 그분의 능력 있는 말씀으로 만물을 붙드시며 그 자신을 통해 죄를 깨끗케 하는 일을 하시고 높은 곳에 계시는 존귀한 분의 오른편에 앉으셨습니다.
3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
4 그 아들이 천사들보다 훨씬 뛰어나게 되셨으니 이는 그들보다 뛰어난 이름을 상속받았기 때문입니다.
4 having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5 <천사들보다 뛰어나신 아들> 하나님께서 언제 천사들 가운데 누구에게라도 "너는 내 아들이다. 오늘 내가 너를 낳았다" 라거나 또다시 "나는 그의 아버지가 되고 그는 내 아들이 될 것이다" 라고 말씀하신 적이 있습니까?
5 For to which of the angels did He ever say: "You are My Son, Today I have begotten You"? And again: "I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son"?
6 그리고 또 그 맏아들을 이 세상에 이끌어 오실 때 "하나님의 모든 천사들은 그에게 경배하라" 하고 말씀하셨습니다.
6 But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: "Let all the angels of God worship Him."
7 천사들에 대해서는 "그는 그의 천사들을 바람으로, 그의 일꾼들을 불꽃으로 삼으신다" 라고 하셨으나
7 And of the angels He says: "Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire."
8 아들에 대해서는 "하나님, 주의 보좌는 영원무궁하며 주의 나라의 규는 의로운 규입니다.
8 But to the Son He says: "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom.
9 주께서는 의를 사랑하시고 불법을 미워하셨습니다. 그러므로 하나님, 곧 주의 하나님께서 기쁨의 기름을 주께 부어 주의 동류들보다 높이 뛰어나게 하셨습니다" 라고 하셨고
9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions."
10 또 "주여, 태초에 주께서 땅을 세우셨고 하늘도 주의 손으로 지으신 것입니다.
10 And: "You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.
11 그것들은 부서질지라도 주께서는 영원히 계실 것이요, 모든 것은 옷과 같이 낡을 것입니다.
11 They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment;
12 주께서 그것들을 겉옷처럼 말아 올리실 것이니 그것들이 옷처럼 변할 것이나 주는 한결같으시며 주의 세월은 끝이 없을 것입니다" 라고 하셨습니다.
12 Like a cloak You will fold them up, And they will be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will not fail."
13 그러나 하나님께서 언제 천사들 가운데 누구에게 "내가 네 원수들을 네 발판이 되게 할 때까지 내 오른편에 앉아 있어라" 라고 말씀하셨습니까?
13 But to which of the angels has He ever said: "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool"?
14 모든 천사들은 구원을 상속할 사람들을 섬기라고 하나님께서 보내신 섬기는 영들이 아닙니까?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?
2.
1 <더욱 유념해야 함에 대한 권면> 그러므로 우리가 잘못된 길로 가지 않도록 들었던 모든 것에 더욱 주의를 기울여야 합니다.
1 Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.
2 천사들을 통해 하신 말씀도 효력이 있어 모든 범죄와 불순종이 마땅한 징벌을 받았는데
2 For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward,
3 우리가 이 큰 구원을 무시한다면 어떻게 징벌을 피할 수 있겠습니까? 이 구원은 처음에 주께서 말씀하신 것이며 들은 사람들이 우리에게 확증해 준 것입니다.
3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,
4 하나님께서도 표적과 놀라운 일들과 여러 가지 기적들 그리고 그분의 뜻에 따라 나눠 주신 성령의 은사들로 함께 증언하셨습니다.
4 God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?
5 <온전한 인간이 되신 예수> 하나님께서는 우리가 말하는 앞으로 올 세상을 천사들에게 다스리라고 하신 것이 아닙니다.
5 For He has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels.
6 그러나 누군가가 어디에 증언하며 말했습니다. "사람이 무엇이기에 그를 생각해 주시며 인자가 무엇이기에 그를 돌보십니까?
6 But one testified in a certain place, saying: "What is man that You are mindful of him, Or the son of man that You take care of him?
7 주께서 그를 잠시 동안 천사들보다 낮아지게 하시고 그에게 영광과 존귀의 관을 씌우셨습니다.
7 You have made him a little lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor, And set him over the works of Your hands.
8 주께서는 만물을 그의 발아래 복종하게 하셨습니다." 하나님께서는 만물을 그의 발아래 복종하게 하심으로 그에게 복종하지 않는 것을 하나도 남기지 않으셨습니다. 그러나 지금은 우리가 아직 만물이 그에게 복종하는 것을 보지 못합니다.
8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet." For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him.
9 다만 우리는 천사들보다 잠시 낮아지신 분, 곧 죽음의 고난을 통해 영광과 존귀로 관을 쓰신 예수를 바라봅니다. 이는 그분이 하나님의 은혜로 모든 사람을 위해 죽음을 맛보려 하심입니다.
9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.
10 모든 것을 만드시고 모든 것을 보존하시는 하나님께서는 많은 아들들을 영광에 이르게 하시려고 그들의 구원의 창시자를 고난을 통해 완전케 하시는 것이 마땅합니다.
10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
11 거룩하게 하시는 분과 거룩하게 된 사람들이 모두 한 분에게서 나왔습니다. 그러므로 예수께서는 이들을 형제들이라고 부르기를 부끄러워하지 않으시고
11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12 말씀하시기를 "내가 주의 이름을 내 형제들에게 선포하고 교회 가운데서 주를 찬양할 것입니다"
12 saying: "I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You."
13 하시고 다시 "내가 그를 의지하리라" 하시고 또다시 "보라. 나와 하나님께서 내게 주신 자녀들이다" 라고 하셨습니다.
13 And again: "I will put My trust in Him." And again: "Here am I and the children whom God has given Me."
14 이와 같이 자녀들은 피와 살을 함께 나눈 사람들이므로 그 자신도 이와 같이 그들과 함께 속하셨습니다. 이는 죽음으로 인해 죽음의 권세를 가진 자, 곧 마귀를 멸하시기 위함이며
14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,
15 또한 죽음이 두려워 평생 노예로 매여 사는 사람들을 풀어 주시기 위함입니다.
15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
16 물론 그는 천사들을 붙들어 주시려는 것이 아니라 아브라함의 씨를 붙들어 주시려는 것입니다.
16 For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham.
17 이러므로 그는 모든 것에서 형제들과 같아지셔야만 했습니다. 이는 하나님 앞에서 자비롭고 신실한 대제사장이 되셔서 백성의 죄를 대속하시기 위함입니다.
17 Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
18 그는 몸소 시험을 받으시고 고난당하셨기에 시험받는 사람들을 도우실 수 있습니다.
18 For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
3.
1 <모세보다 더욱 존귀하신 예수> 그러므로 함께 하늘의 부르심을 받은 거룩한 형제 여러분, 우리가 고백하는 사도이시며 대제사장이신 예수를 깊이 생각하십시오.
1 Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,
2 그분은 자신을 세우신 분에게 충성하기를 마치 모세가 하나님의 온 집에서 한 것과 같이 하셨습니다.
2 who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house.
3 그러나 마치 집을 지은 사람이 그 집보다 더 존귀한 것같이 그분은 모세보다 더 큰 영광을 받기에 합당하십니다.
3 For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house.
4 집마다 누군가 지은 사람이 있듯이 모든 만물을 지으신 분은 하나님이십니다.
4 For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.
5 또한 모세는 장차 하나님께서 말씀하실 것을 증언하기 위해 하나님의 온 집에서 종으로 충성했습니다.
5 And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward,
6 그러나 그리스도께서는 하나님의 집에서 아들로서 충성하셨습니다. 우리가 소망에 대한 확신과 긍지를 굳게 잡으면 우리는 곧 그분의 가족입니다.
6 but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.
7 <믿지 않는 사람들에 대한 경고> 그러므로 성령께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. "오늘 너희가 그의 음성을 들으면
7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you will hear His voice,
8 광야에서 시험받던 날에 반역한 것처럼 너희 마음을 완고하게 하지 말라.
8 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness,
9 너희 조상들이 거기서 40년 동안 나를 불신해 시험했다. 또한 내가 행한 일들을 보았다.
9 Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, And saw My works forty years.
10 그러므로 내가 진노해 그 세대를 향해 말했다. '그들은 항상 마음이 미혹돼 내 길들을 알지 못했다.'
10 Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said, 'They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.'
11 내가 진노해 맹세한 것처럼 그들은 결코 내 안식에 들어오지 못할 것이다."
11 So I swore in My wrath, 'They shall not enter My rest.'"
12 형제 여러분, 여러분 가운데 누구든지 살아 계신 하나님을 떠나려는 악한 불신의 마음을 품지 않도록 조심하십시오.
12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;
13 도리어 아직 '오늘'이라 일컬을 수 있는 그날그날에 여러분 가운데 누구라도 죄의 속임수로 완고해지지 않도록 서로를 격려하십시오.
13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called "Today," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14 이는 우리가 처음에 확신한 것을 끝까지 굳게 잡으면 그리스도와 함께 나누는 사람들이 되기 때문입니다.
14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,
15 "오늘 너희가 그의 음성을 들으면 광야에서 시험받던 날에 반역한 것처럼 너희 마음을 완고하게 하지 말라" 라고 말씀하실 때
15 while it is said: "Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion."
16 듣고도 반역한 사람들이 누구였습니까? 모세를 통해 이집트에서 나온 모든 사람들이 아닙니까?
16 For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses?
17 또 하나님께서 40년 동안 누구에게 진노하셨습니까? 죄를 저지르고 시체가 돼 광야에 쓰러진 사람들에게 아닙니까?
17 Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness?
18 또한 하나님께서 누구에게 그분의 안식에 들어가지 못할 것이라고 맹세하셨습니까? 불순종한 사람들이 아니고 누구입니까?
18 And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey?
19 이로써 우리는 그들이 불신앙 때문에 들어갈 수 없었던 것을 봅니다.
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
